Rookie Course & Deputy Dogs Class
Our Rookie Course & Deputy Dog Class is designed to help you train your dog to walk and behave in a controlled manner on the lead, stay in one position on command and allow you to clean, groom and inspect it. Your dog should also come to hand when called. This class aims to provide you with a basic knowledge of understanding and training your canine companion. During the classes you will learn to train your dog whilst using positive reward based methods.
Dogs 6 months of age or older are eligible to join either class.
The Rookie Course is for beginners with no previous training and is set course for 6 weeks.
The Deputy Dog is not a set course you can continue coming to these classes as long as you like. Deputy dog class is for dogs who have completed a previous Puppy Foundation Course. Once we feel you have advanced through Deputy Dog we would recommend that you move up to our next Hot Dog class. All we ask is that you sign up and pay for 6 classes in advance each time to secure your place.
Please remember that it is a legal requirement for your dog to have a collar and name tag on displaying your family name and contact number.
